Pittsburg Rodeo Association Incorporated
Pittsburg Rodeo Texas Association is a non-profit organization, begun in 1961 by local ranchers and community members. The annual Rodeo is held Mother's Day weekend every May. Other events such as bullriding are offered throughout the year.
Since 1961 this association has provided a highly attended annual rodeo and many other related events. It continues to select and elect a dedicated board of directors. Volunteers are the backbone of the association. With the help of teachers, parents, and community, their annual Handi-Capable rodeo has grown to entries upwards of 500 contestants.
The rodeo arena is located on US Hwy 271 North. Rodeo dates are Mother's Day weekend each year, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. The well kept arena holds 3000 people. Ample parking is provided on site.
